Wedding planning can be stressful, but our dance lessons quickly became one of the things we looked forward to most each week. He made us feel comfortable right away and has such a gift for breaking things down in a way that feels fun and natural, never intimidating. We left every class laughing, more confident, and more connected. Not only is he an amazing instructor, but he and his wife create such a warm, welcoming environment. You can tell they truly care about their clients and love what they do. We originally came in just to prepare for our first dance — and now we fully plan to keep going long after the wedding. My wife came up with the idea that we should learn some couple dancing moves for my 60th birthday celebration. Our private classes were led by Kimberly and Antonio, and the experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. They made us feel welcome, comfortable, and excited to be there right away. Kimberly and Antonio are not only incredibly talented instructors, but also genuinely kind and thoughtful people. Their positive energy and warm vibe made learning so much fun and truly special for us. After the birthday party, we enjoyed the experience so much that we decided to continue our classes with them to keep learning and growing. This is a great studio! The instructors are very professional, excellent teachers of all styles of dance, and enthusiastic supporters of their students regardless of proficiency...they can teach anybody to dance and have a lot of fun in the process. Every time we go to this studio we leave happier than when we arrived. Highly recommended for anyone who is interested in dancing!

Skilled instructors and extremely personable staff. We love the ROSD community! Classy, tasteful, and talented. I cannot begin to describe how amazing our experience has been at the River Oaks School of Dancing. Our instructor, Kimberly, has done such an amazing job of prepping me and my fiancee for our first dance together at our wedding. Everyone who works here has such a great attitude and passion for dancing that they truly make it such an enjoyable experience. I'd highly recommend coming here if you're looking to choreograph a first dance or just want to learn some new moves for any occasion. Keep up the great work guys!

There is nothing better than learning to dance with someone who loves what he does, does it well, and encourages you every step of the way, even on the days you have two left feet, which in my case is most days LOL. Whether you just want to have sone fun dancing or you want to learn or perfect your technique or compete, there just isn’t a better place to do so in Houston. Antonio and Kimberly are the owners as well as instructors so they are truly vested in each of our success. My dance time is truly the highlight of the day ... just ME time.

Kimberly and the whole ROSD staff are teachers who work with their clients from where they start. They have no judgment about your skill/talent level and are some of the nicest people I've met. They also are amazing community builders. It's about so much more than dancing, but definitely go for the dance instruction and get so much more.

Absolutely love it here!!! Kimberly and Antonio are brilliant dancers and teachers. I felt at home in the studio on day one, and my dancing is advancing AND I’m having so much fun! Plus, wonderful workout and good for my posture!

Kimberly did such a wonderful job helping us learn and choreograph the first dance for our wedding. The studio has taken numerous precautionary measures including temperature checks and hand sanitizer upon arrival, as well as requiring masks be worn throughout the lesson. Kimberly did such a great job of breaking down the dance and providing constructive feedback during our one-on-one lessons. We had a blast working with her!

Pretty much every single aspect of ROSD is exemplary. I was nervous about signing up, but everyone on the staff is gracious and welcoming and kind. The second time I came back for a lesson, they all knew my name and said hello. Antonio and Kim and the rest of the staff also introduce me to other students if I haven't met them yet, which makes the group dance parties and dance nights out a lot less daunting. Most importantly, they are talented at teaching, which is a lot different from just being a skilled dancer. They break down the movements in ways that are easy to understand. I usually get there a little early for my lesson, and have had the opportunity to watch all of the instructors and see that they all have this ability. They make the atmosphere of the studio like a family, and it is wonderful to be a part of.
